Mendota Trail 5k are running and/or snowshoe events run along the trail on the Mendota side of Ft Snelling State Park.

It is part of the Mendota Races, which raises funds to maintain the trail.

Location: Fort Snelling State Park - Shelter A, Picnic Island

Events: 5k run and/or 5k snowshoe
Start Time: 9:00am
Time Limit: 1.5 hours
Bib Pickup/Race Day registration: 8:00am in Shelter A

Parking is available in the lots on Picnic Island

Race is chip timed!

- $25 until October 15
- $30 from October 16 - December 7
- $35 Race Day



Neither strollers nor dogs are allowed to participate in the event.

Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable to other people and/or to other Mountain Goat Running events. If you register and are unable to attend for whatever reason, the proceeds from the race go to Ft Snelling State Park to maintain the trail.

All participants will receive a drink voucher for a domestic tap beer or non-alcoholic beverage at Lucky's 13.
